Vita Student

Once again in the Vita Student project in Newcastle, GammaStone Natural Air panels could adapt to urban environments that are strongly characterised from a historical and landscape point of view. Due to the project's location, in the centre of Newcastle, the designer selected the local stone Stancliff Yellow for cladding this residential and recreational building for university students. The dimensions of the panels have also remained similar to the traditional ones, enhancing the dynamism of the façade by inserting a large number of panels of different sizes.

In addition, the quality of the finish was maximum and the creation of monolithic angles for all polygonal elements gave the façade an amazing aesthetic. A peculiar feature of this project was the realisation of some curved panels for a section of this building. The surprising result of these elements is due to the realisation of each piece through the removal of material from the surface stone layer with a numerical control machine. To give those pieces the same level of finish as the other panels, they were handcrafted by our experienced workforce.
